(sh). Do you know the story of Rudolph, the red nosed reindeer? Rudolph lives at the north-pool with many other reindeer and Santa Claus. A long time ago Rudolph was very unhappy. The other reindeer always laughed at him, because of his big red, shiny nose: “Look at his big red nose!” “Go away, Rudolph!” “We don`t want to play with you!” Rudolph was so alone. Rudolph was so sad. A few days before Christmas Santa Claus was very busy. He had to put all the presents into nice boxes. “A lot of work”, he complained. Santa Claus worked very hard. He worked all day and all night and there was still a lot of work to do. But - suddenly - Santa Claus got a fright! All the lights went out. He could not see anything at all. “Oh, my god”, he thought. “I have to do my work. The children want to have their presents on Christmas. I have to put them into boxes. What can I do?” Now Santa Claus was very unhappy. Suddenly he saw a light. It was Rudolph with his big red shiny nose. “I help you, Santa Claus”, he said. Santa Claus was delighted. “Thanks goodness for your shiny nose, Rudolph!” Santa could finish his work and all the children got their presents on Christmas. The other reindeer shouted for joy: “Thanks goodness for your shiny nose, Rudolph!” “Do you want to play with us?” “Rudolph, we are your friends!” Rudolph was not sad anymore. Rudolph was not alone anymore. Now he had many friends. |
(Julia).
